Paint the Town Red Party - Olympic Torch Parade

The Olympic Torch Parade is coming to Lynn Valley and you are invited to show your Canadian Spirit at the Mollie Nye House Paint the Town Red Party. Wear red and white, bring your Canadian flag and cheer on the torchbearers as they pass right by the Mollie Nye House. SPACE LIMITED.

This is a free community event with entertainment and refreshments by donation.

Heritage Cream Tea

Celebrate the start of Heritage Week with a traditional Heritage Cream Tea on Saturday, February 13th. Join local historian Roy Pallant for a fascinating talk entitled "Memories of childhood days in Lynn Valley" at 1:45pm. Then at 2:30pm enjoy a cup of tea, a delicious scone with jam and whipped cream, good conversation and musical entertainment. And finally, pick up a self-guided tour brochure and learn more about the historic Mollie Nye house and the wonderful traditions of the Nye Family.

Join us for a celebration of Winter recreation! Hosted by Northvanrec, North Shore Credit Union, Mount Seymour, North Shore News.   Free activities: Performances by children's entertainers Bob & Lolo; Scavenger Hunt; Crafts; Hot Chocolate; Popcorn; Prizes. The first 200 people to show their North Shore Credit Union Member Card or Northvanrec Playcard will receive free tobogganing or $8.00 off tubing!
