Daycamps Forms

Once you've chosen a daycamp, please be sure to print off, fill out and sign our Daycamp Parental Consent Form. (PDF 24.3KB) Bring it with you when you drop off your child for the daycamp and hand it to the Daycamp Leader on the first day. Our daycamp staff must have this form before you leave for the day so they know how and with whom your child will be returning home.

Does your child have a disability and needs some extra help?

Volunteer Support if your child requires a minimum level of support

Our volunteers are generally between the ages of 14-16 and do not have any specific training in working with children with specific needs. They are intended to be a one on one friend to assist. If this description fits your child's needs please call Meh at 604-983-6417 for more information.

Leader Support if your child requires 1:1 leader support while participating in a full day daycamp program

  • Our daycamp Support Leader is a post Secondary student who has experience working with people with disabilities.
  • Children who require specialized support or personal care do not qualify for this service
  • All participants are required to complete and return a questionnaire and meet with the Access Programmer and Support Leader prior to the start of daycamp.
Please call Jackie Hamm, Recreation Access Programmer at 604-982-8331.

Please note that you are eligible for a maximum of two weeks combined support from either or both of the above services. We cannot guarantee support. Support is based on the resources available and on a first come first serve basis.

In order to create an inclusive environment for all campers, we request that those children participating in a camp accompanied by their own support person to please contact Jackie Hamm, Recreation Access Programmer, prior to the start of camp. Jackie may be reached by calling 604-982-8331 or by email.
