North Shore Multicultural Society

Youth Program

Youth Settlement Program- Community Programming offered on an individual and group basis.  Youth will be offered a choice between an 8 week fulltime intensive training program and 1 on 1 coaching and attendance at stand alone workshops relevant to their needs.  In this program participants will gain knowledge and experience in:

  • Leadership and Team Building
  • Volunteering
  • Career Exploration/ Job Search Skills
  • Career Planning- Return To School Plan
  • Life Skills
  • Recreation
  • Self Awareness

Lower Capilano Friday Grocery Shopping Bus Program-FREE

A weekly transportation program for seniors to help them purchase their groceries, and an opportunity to socialize with peers.

I qualify if

  • I live in Lower Capilano (Pemberton Heights, Woodcroft, Lion's Gate, Norgate, Klahanie, or International Plaza.
  • You are a Senior unable to drive and need groceries or want to socialize
  • You can walk with or without a walker (sorry no wheelchairs)
