Hassle-free cancellations at the Recreation Commission
You've taken the time to register with the North Vancouver Recreation Commission, and now your plans have changed. We may be able to issue you a credit or give you a refund, depending on what you're withdrawing from and how and when you registered.
northvanrec Programs & Daycamps
You'll receive a full refund if you request to withdraw from a program or daycamp more than five days before the scheduled start date.
You'll be refunded for the program fee less the charge for one class if you request to withdraw anytime between five days before the program starts and the start of the second class.
PLEASE NOTE: No refunds or credits can be issued after the second class of a program commences. Fees for one-day programs and weekend workshops are non-refundable.
Co-sponsored Programs
Any request to withdraw from a co-sponsored program is subject to our agreement with the co-sponsoring organization. Contact us at 604-987-Play (7529) for more information about our current agreements with these or any other organizations:

Fitness Memberships
One-Month Membership
Refunds will be prorated on a weekly basis.
Three-Month Membership (Quarterly Membership)
A processing fee will be applied to any refund requested in the first 2 months of a three-month membership. The refund will be prorated on a daily basis after the end of the second month.
Fitness withdraw fees:
Adult withdraw in 1st month $20.00
Adult withdraw in 2nd month $11.80
Senior/Youth withdraw in 1st month $16.30
Senior/Youth withdraw in 2nd month $9.60
Annual Membership
A processing fee will be applied to any refund requested in the first 4 months of an annual membership. The refund will be prorated on a daily basis after the end of the fourth month.
Fitness withdraw fees:
Adult withdraw within first 4 months $30.30
Senior/Youth withdraw within first 4 months $23.00
Birthday Parties
You'll receive a full refund if you give us 7 days notice of a cancellation. When you give us less than 7 days notice, you will receive a 50% refund.
