The North Vancouver recCommission offers you more for your fitness dollar. Drop in to any of our facilities to check us out and pay a low-priced single drop-in rate. If you plan to exercise regularly, you can enjoy substantial savings by purchasing a fitness membership.
When you purchase a North Vancouver Recreation Commission fitness membership, you will receive a Playcard as your ID. If you already have a card, your account will be credited with Playcard points for the membership you've just purchased. Bring the card with you every time you visit a North Vancouver Centre or Community Centre.
Adults, seniors and students* with a membership get unlimited access to:
- More than 150 fitness classes (land and water-based) per week
- Public swim and public skate sessions
- Lane swimming at 3 pools
- 9 weight rooms at 6 locations
- 1 cardio studio
- Circuit training classes
- Indoor cycling classes (does not include registered indoor cycling classes)
- Squash and racquetball courts
- Table tennis
- Steam rooms, saunas and whirlpools
- Opportunities to use gyms (during non-scheduled gym hours)
- Trail Trekkers hikes and walks.
Children* with a membership get unlimited access to:
- Public swim and public skate sessions
- Squash and racquetball courts
- Weight room use during Supervised Teen Times (for children aged 13-14 only)
- Opportunities to use gyms (during non-scheduled gym hours)
- Trail Trekkers hikes and walks
- Lane swimming, steam rooms, saunas and whirlpools (only with permission of the Aquatic Supervisor)
- fitness classes (children aged 12 to 14 years only).
* For fitness memberships, the following age definitions apply: adults (19-64 years), seniors (65+ years), students (15-18 years and 19-24 years with valid student ID) and children (3-14 years).
