Adapted Fitness |
Self-paced gym and/or water exercises for those with multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's and/or head injuries. |
Cardiac Fitness |
For people with a heart condition or who have had a heart attack, Work toward restoring your optimal heath. Phase II-III (Beginner level) Physician's referral required. Phase IV (Continuing level) for stable cardiac clients. A stress test is recommended before participating. |
Diabetes Fitness |
Gentle exercises to help stabilize diabetes, lose weight, decrease need for insulin, lower cholesterol and avoid complications. Referral by physician or medical professional required. |
Energizers |
This balanced, low-impact workout is designed to improve strength, endurance, balance and coordination. Chair exercises included using tubing and other resistance equipment. |
Joint Replacement |
Whether you've had a joint replaced or are waiting for surgery, you'll need to strengthen muscles surrounding the joint, improve flexibility and mobility, and enhance your overall fitness. Our fitness consultants can develop and supervise a carefully designed circuit in the weight room and pool. This new and exciting program is the first of it's kind in the Lower Mainland. physio referral required. |
Osteo/Arthritis |
Gentle exercises to improve muscle and bone strength, reaction time and reduce the likelihood of falling. Physician's referral recommended. |
Stroke Rehab |
For people who have had a cerebral vascular accident. Full range of movement for small and large muscle groups, with some speech therapy. |
