Summer Daycamps Volunteer
Providing Support During Summer Holidays
From early July to the end of August each year, volunteers help provide memorable, fun and exciting activities and outings for children. Each day at camp has a great mix of programmed activities that provide kids with new experiences.
These positions are ideal for energetic, caring volunteers who want to develop strong leadership skills and gain experience working with children.
Training and orientation are provided. A minimum two-week commitment (consecutive or non-consecutive) is required.
Daycamps are held at the following facilities:
- Delbrook Community Recreation Centre
- Harry Jerome Community Recreation Centre
- Karen Magnussen Community Recreation Centre
- Lynn Valley Community Recreation Centre
- Ron Andrews Community Recreation Centre
- William Griffin Community Recreation Centre
