General Recreation Volunteer

Providing Program Support

The North Vancouver Recreation Commission offers a wide range of recreation and social development programs to help people meet others, gain new skills or just have fun. General Recreation Program volunteers provide leadership and assistance to help participants have an enjoyable experience while meeting their individual goals.

These positions are ideal for anyone interested in sharing their experience in arts and crafts, sports, skating, and preschool programs. General Recreation Program volunteers work side-by-side with instructors and program leaders. Some positions require a specific level of competency to enhance the program.

Volunteers are always needed at all of our Community Recreation Centres.
