How do I apply for a job with the North Vancouver Recreation Commission?

How long do applications stay on file?
Applications are kept in our files for twelve months.

If I am interested in several positions with the North Vancouver Recreation Commission, do I need to submit an application for each posting?
Every posting is considered separately. If you are applying for several positions, a separate application needs to be submitted for each position. Please ensure the competition number is clearly identified on each application.

Make the changes on your application and re-submit it. We will add your new application to our database. Your application will be valid for one year from the date it is received.

How do I check the status of a position?
Information about the status of a position is listed in the employment portal beside the name of the position.

Can I e-mail, mail, fax or personally deliver my application?
The North Vancouver Recreation Commission has implemented an on-line applicant tracking system for all resume submissions for specific posted positions or general applications. Resumes will not be accepted by e-mail, mail, fax or in person. To ensure your information is in our database, please submit resumes, cover letters and documents through our on-line applicant tracking system.

NOTE: After uploading your resume, please review the information for accuracy and ensure all required fields are completed. Formats accepted for resume upload include Microsoft Word for PC or Mac, Microsoft Works, Corel Wordperfect for PC or Mac, Lotus Word, Rich Text Format, HTML and PDF in text format. Please note that the following file formats are not supported for your resume: image PDFs or other image files (.bmp, .gif, .jpg, or .tif).
